Women of legends and tales who are outstanding in their great beauty or villainy are products of people’s imagination.
They play the roles what we desire them to act. Characteristics given to them varies from devilish cruelty to extreme beauty that costs their lives.
This series of objects are inspired by the classic texts in which women appear. I believe they are the legacies of people’s rumors reflecting their ideas how a woman should be.
伝説や物語の中の美女や悪女といった、超越した女性達は、人々がそのようであってほしい、と欲望することによって生まれる。
とりわけて残酷であったり、殺されるほどに美しかったりと、彼女たちは実に目まぐるしい役柄を与えられる。
人々の噂（＝欲望）の象徴として残っているテキストと、その背景をも含め物語りや伝説からインスパイアされたオブジェをシリーズとして制作している。
